fiscal officer/ Clerk of Council

The responsibility of the Fiscal Officer is to oversee the operation of the Fiscal Office. The main function of the office is to manage the finances of the Village. This includes paying the bills, accounting for all financial transactions, following all the rules and regulations for appropriating and purchasing goods and services as need by the Township.
The responsibility of the Council Clerk is to ensure that the instruction of the Council in connection with it function as a Local Authority are carried out. The Clerk will be accountable to the Council for the effective management of all it resources and employees and will report to them as and when required.
The Clerk is expected to advise the Council on, and assist in formation of, overall policies to be followed in respect of the Authority's activities and in particular to produce all the information required for making effective decision and to implement constructively all decisions.
