collection guidelinesMaterial Preparation & Cart Placement: All trash and recycling must be contained within the provided carts. Materials outside the carts will not be collected. Carts should be placed with the opening facing the street and at least 3' from neartest object.
Time of Collection: Please place your trash and recycling curbside the evening before your collection day. There is no set time for collection. Rumke Cannot Collect: Car batteries, tires, liquids, combustible materials or any hazardous items. Contact your Solid Waste District for disposable options. Bulky Items: Rumpke offers collection of bulky items, such as appliances, carpet, and child play equipment. Appliances with Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) such as as refrigerators or personal air conditioner units must have the CFC removed by a licensed technician, and the removal certification must be attached to the appliance at the time of collection. Rumke wil perform this service for an additional fee. Carry Out Service: Any resident with a physical disability that limits or impairs the ability to walk, in accordance with ORC 4503.44(A)(1).
